Respite Care

What is Respite Care?

Respite care is short-term, temporary care provided to an individual who may need continued guidance or assistance with activities of daily living. It is designed to give the primary
caregiver(s) a break from their care giving duties. It may be scheduled for just a few hours or several days in length depending on the plans of the caregiver.

Our trained staff is available to provide assistance with medication administration, dressing, eating, mobility, hygiene and grooming, etc. Special services are available for those with all
stages of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Why are we different?

Ganton Retirement Centers, Inc. has been proud to house a pilot project at one of our centers. This pilot project proved there is a real need for respite services in our community.

Because of this project our company continues to offer respite services to senior citizens,
